|| = || __ OVERWHELMED BY CARE AND PRIDE
We recently sent out info on a SAH family whose child’s bike was placed against their bins, while they were doing other things. When they went back, the bike was gone. They didn’t know whether someone had taken it, thinking the owner was throwing it out - or it was stolen.
Meanwhile, their direct neighbour (who was aware of the situation) saw this guy walking with the bike. He approached the guy to ask about it. The guy was very aggressive. This suggests it wasn’t someone thinking it was simply thrown out. They are sure now that it was stolen. The neighbour who saw the guy took a quick photo (shared here).
The incident has been reported to the Calgary Police Service.
We don’t know if the second bike is also stolen. If so, it possibly belongs to another SAH neighbour.
If you know who this is, know someone else missing the other bike, or see either of these bikes discarded nearby, please send a message to info@standrewsheights.ca. As well, you might want to contact police.
The bike owner also wants to let neighbours know they appreciate all of the support they have received from our awesome community. This includes the person who stepped up to take the photo. They are overwhelmed by care and pride. They say they are making slow progress because of your support.
Now isn’t this a wonderful place to live???
