|| = || __ ECO EVENTS
There is lots of energy in St. Andrews Heights to work on environmental events to reduce our individual and collective impact. We have formed an environmental group that has its own newsletter highlighting eco-news and events in the community. If you are interested in being added to this mailing list and want to join our ever-growing group, please email Olivia. We want to share our passion and energy with the greater community. We welcome you with exciting events in our mission toward a more sustainable future.
September 6 and 7: City Wide Curbside Treasure Hunt
Place your used items in good condition on your property (next to the sidewalk or curb) for others to take. This initiative gives gently used items a new life while keeping them out of the landfill. To learn more about this initiative and what items you can put out, click the link below:

Not accepted: Lithium batteries, Yard Waste, Contractor Waste, Auto Parts, Tires
Location: Parking lot at 13th Ave / University Drive

We need volunteers to load the trucks (and divert gently used items) on the day of the event. Please contact Liz if you'd like to help out.
October 11, 9 am-2 pm: SAH Fix It Clinic
In partnership with the Arusha Centre, residents bring their clothing and/or small household appliances that need mending or fixing. A team will help you fix your items (or they will do it for you). This allows us to keep these items out of the landfill and extend their life, while learning new skills and connecting with folks. If you have a talent / passion for mending or fixing, and are available to assist, please contact Olivia to volunteer.
