Art for Peace is an afternoon dedicated to exploring how art can inspire peace, justice, and hope.
Join us December 6th at Parkdale United Church from 2:00 - 5:00pm. Parkdale United is just below the hill on 29th Street. (2919 8 Ave NW)
There will be a silent auction supporting Ploughshares Calgary Society including a donation from Pedro Reyes of Artist Against the Bomb, local visual art, a photoshoot package and more.
Enjoy live music by Doug Waite, a Calgary Folk Fest songwriting contest winner and Mint Records recording artist.
Come participate in hands-on activities including our Vision for Peace collage and Messages of Hope Time Capsule.
This free, all-ages, informal afternoon includes light bites and refreshments.
