The following is a message about a topic that has already affected (or will affect) a whole lot of us. It is shared by a group called StillMe.
Who are we?
StillMe is a social movement in Calgary and surrounding areas, dedicated to helping people live their best lives through brain-healthy choices. We're powered by Alzheimer Calgary and focused on building a community where everyone – whether you’re impacted by dementia or not – has access to hope, connection, and practical tips to reduce their risk.
StillMe provides:
✓ Free access to easy, practical brain health tips you can use today
✓ Risk reduction strategies backed by research
✓ The chance to WIN a wellness prize pack valued over $1,000 just for joining the movement
✓ For anyone impacted by dementia, even in a small way – you’ll find a supportive online community of Calgarians who "get it"
✓ Hope and connection for those touched by dementia
This isn't just another health initiative – it's about empowering people with simple lifestyle changes that can make a real difference, from what they eat to how they move and connect with others.
As well, this January there is a major giveaway:
For Alzheimer Awareness Month everyone who joins the StillMe movement before January 31st is automatically entered to win a wellness prize package over $1,000 for local Calgary and area businesses. Includes food, spa, golf and other activities.
Here is how to get involved:
1. Check out the movement (takes 30 seconds) and enter the giveaway
2. Visit www.stillme.ca for more inspiring stories, tips, tools and fun learning
3. Start receiving brain health tips and community updates
No complicated steps, no cost, just connection and valuable information.
StillMe is on a mission to help people understand that dementia often isn’t hereditary, and there are so many things they can do now to reduce risk.
Together, we're building a Calgary where dementia is understood, not feared, and where everyone has the tools to live their best life.
