|| = || __ CAT-ACLYSMIC
One of our neighbours has noticed this cat hanging around near his house. Another neighbour knows this cat has been wandering St Andrews Heights for a while.
Neighbour 1 describes the cat as follows:
“A bit untended and weird, eating grass, and scaring the birds. First on Toronto Crescent, then in my garden, rolling in the dirt!”
The photo above is of the actual cat. Do you recognize it? Since the cat is not responding on CatsApp, we are hoping to find the owner.
The cat might also have a chip tag (to help identify the owner). However, the neighbour does not feel comfortable trying to catch the cat yet (and it seems the cat might not be comfy with that either).
“Meeeerrrrrowwww hissssss!” (Alleged comment from the cat.)
We would like to do our best to find the owner. If we can’t, we may then contact the Humane Society (or similar) for help. They might be able to read the tracker to find the owner, though it is also possible the tag is not currently working (the reason the cat has not been claimed). If the owner cannot be found, or no longer wants the cat, they will work to rehome it (the cat not the owner).
If it’s your cat (or you know someone who might be the owner), please contact info@standrewsheights.ca.
We understand the cat might not be from St Andrews Heights (and only came here for the quality of life). At the same time, we prefer not to feed the coyotes.
Sorry Wile E. Maybe the owner will get you a kit kat? That sounds yummy!
