Incorporation
The St. Andrew's Heights Community Association registered as a society under the Alberta Government Societies Act. As a registered society our membership elects a Board of Directors to govern the organization.
We are a member of the Federation of Calgary Communities, which provides various resources to assist with our governance.

- Ensure SAHCA maintains strong relationships with institutional partners;

- Recruit a community historian;
- Maintain a relationship with Maria Montessori Education Centre to see where they are going in the future;
- Maintenance plan;
- Finance/yearly budget and investments.

Finances
The St. Andrew's Heights Community Association is entirely self-sustaining. We receive no direct ongoing funds from any level of government.
Funding for our various operations comes via membership dues and business operations such as hall rentals, sports fees, and advertising. We often apply for and occasionally receive government grants for one-off projects.

Executive Committee
The Executive Committee typically meets on the fourth Monday of each month except December and July. Meetings start at 7:00 pm with a view to finish in 60 - 90 minutes. Meetings are held at the Community Centre (2504 - 13 Ave NW).
Members of the community are welcome to attend (observe) meetings without notice. Community Association Members or others may make presentations or applications with 72 hours advance notice to the Chair (president). Advance notice provides the committee with an opportunity to review materials and adjust the agenda in advance of the meeting.
