The following message was received from one of our neighbours:
"We live on Toronto Crescent. On Friday, July 15th we were hosting a party in the backyard and had several of our guest’s cars parked outside. At 6pm, a man broke into my brother’s car by smashing in the window. My husband saw him and ran around to the front lawn. The man jumped into a car being driven by someone else and sped off in what we believe was a Chevy Silverado. The police were given a description and partial license plate. This was quite bold given that there were ~15 people in the backyard (with kids frequently running around to the front yard). We believe they were after my brother’s dashcam. Another painful reminder to leave NOTHING of value in your car, especially if it’s visible." This event is shocking given that it also happened during daytime hours. Comments are closed.
